Arblus was a native of Lithone and friend of Kranix. Arblus attempted to escape along with Kranix, but his ship was unable to escape Unicron.

Although his brief appearance didn't show it, Arblus was supposed to have overdeveloped emotional circuitry. Like Kranix, in the original screenplay, Arblus transformed into a spacecraft. This was left out of the final film.
