Fortuna was a slaver of his own people before he became Jabba's right-hand man. Fortuna planned to kill Jabba and take over his empire, but the Twi'lek's efforts were thwarted thanks to the efforts of a small Rebel strikeforce led by Luke Skywalker to rescue the captive Han Solo.
