Charmed is a U.S. television series about three sisters who are witches; they use their powers to fight evil. The original lineup of sisters was Prudence Halliwell, Piper Halliwell and Phoebe Halliwell, played by Shannon Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano respectively. However, due to disagreements Shannon decided to quit the show after the third season. So Prudence was killed and a previously unknown fourth half-sister called Paige Matthews was written in (played by Rose McGowan).
