Genghis Rex

Genghis Rex was the main villain in the cartoon Dinosaucers.

Background

Genghis Rex was the leader of the evil Tyrannos that had come to Earth from the planet Reptilon to battle their enemies the Dinosaucers. He is an evolved version of a Tyrannosaurus with red skin and ears an orangish/blue armor. Considering his species, he is often quite brutal and tyrannical with a violent temper. He typically insults his minions should they fail in some manner while tolerating the more flattering or important sounding names given to him by the other Tyrannos. While a dangerous opponent, he can be inept and often lose to the Dinosaucers in the end.

While a vicious opponent, Genghis Rex has demonstrated to have deep feelings for the female Dinosaucer Teryx; going as far as attempting to capture her and marry her something she resisted because she was in love with Ichy.

Though little is known on his family, he does possess an equally evil sister in the form of Princess Dei who resides on their race's homeworld.
