Jed Midnight

Jed Midnight was one of several American mob bosses whom Auric Goldfinger promised $1 million in gold bullion, to participate in the early phases of Operation Grandslam. Midnight supplied Goldfinger with the nerve gas he would need to knock out the soldiers guarding Fort Knox. When Goldfinger had no further use for Midnight or the other gangsters, he had Kisch kill them using the same nerve gas Midnight had supplied.
