Keffer, Warren

Warren Keffer was the head of Zeta Squadron on Babylon 5. When on a mission to save the EAS Cortez in hyperspace, Keffer spotted a Shadow vessel fly past his Starfury, killing one of his comrades and nearly killing him. He became obsessed with finding out what it was that he saw, and even disobeyed orders from Commander Susan Ivanova on this quest.

He eventually managed to track one into hyperspace and began filming it, and he ejected the data crystal containing the footage attached to a distress beacon, just before being killed when the Shadow vessel destroyed his Starfury.
