Metron

Metron is one of the New Gods, a morally indifferent being devoted entirely to the pursuit of knowledge. He travels existence with his Mobius Chair. Despite his neutrality, Metron has intervened on several occasions when reality has been threatened, including Zero Hour, Extant's attempt to seize the Worlogog and recreate reality, and Krona's invasion of the Marvel Universe.
Alternate Universes
In Justice Legion A's 853rd century, Metron will be the mentor of Hourman.
In another alternate future, Metron's will was broken, and he served as a minion of Darkseid. The lord of Apokolips used him in an attempt to destroy the Worlogog, and thus ensure the timeline of his future victory.
DC Animated
Metron exists in the DC Animated continuity as well. He is identical in origins and concept, but not in specific activities.
