The Predacons are the descendants of the Decepticons in the era of the Beast Wars.

U.S. Animated

The Predacons were ostensibly led by the Tripredacus Council. Restrained from their conquering ways by the Pax Cybertronia, individual Predacons initiated many plans to overthrow Maximal dominance.
