Stampede (BraveStarr)

Stampede was a powerful villain that featured in the cartoon BraveStarr.

History

Stampede was an ancient evil who challenged BraveStarrs shamanic people in order to gain access to the people's ancient power generator. Raising an army of gigantic undead bull warriors, Stampede faced much resistance but managed to gain access to the generator. After accessing the power, Stampede gained a great deal of power which resulted in the destruction of the Shaman world but not before several ships left. After ravaging the planet, Stampede would relocate to a new world to plunder which would become known as New Texas where he set up a base of operations.

He would remain there for sometime and sense an approaching vessel that was piloted by a shaman from the world he had destroyed previously. Rather then let this threat come into existence, he targeted the vessel with magically manipulated meteors and a fireball causing it to crash and seemingly kill its pilot. Believing his threat to be destroyed, Stampede watched the world continue as he bidded his time. Finally, he would see a outlaw die during hold up of wagon, however, he lost control where he crashed near Stampede's base of operations. Stampede saw the opportunity to gain a puppet servant, he would embed magic within the decayed body giving it life as well as numerous magical abilities. Command this new Tex Hex, Stampede tasked him with gaining more evil servants so that they could terorrise the inhabitants of New Texas.

It was then that he encountered the threat that he believed he had destroyed. Stampede learnt that the son of a shaman had survived and become the new marshal of the planet. Not tolerating this threat to his power, Stampede was task his servant on numerous occasions to destroy this foe known as BraveStarr.

Background

Stampede appeared as a gigantic skeletal grey skinned horned bull-like creature with glowing yellow eyes whose lower body was shrouded in smoke.

He was quite powerful and a capable user of dark magic which he can enhance by draining energy reactors which can cause him to destroy entire planets. He is also capable of giving life to the recently deceased giving them magical abilities and even amplifying them when he needs to do so. Furthermore, he is able to summon an army of gigantic skeletal bulls to serve him against his enemies. These are quite dangerous as the bulls reform after being destroyed, the bones pulling together which recreates the monster once more making them a very tenacoious opponent.
