Sun Imps

The Sun Imps were a race of magical beings that feature in an episode of Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light.
Background
The Sun Imps were a chaotic race of small yellow skinned creatures that existed in the First Age of Magic on the world of Prysmos. They were chaotic beings that delighted in causing havoc as well as suffering among the denziens of the world that they banded together to imprison the creatures in a tomb that was buried deep beneath the planet.
Centuries later during the next Age of Magic, an earthquake revealed the tomb to the Spectral Knights and the Darkling Lords who sought Merklynn for advice. His command was for both groups to help reseal the tomb, however, Cindarr's beast of destruction was released which broke the seal to the tomb allowing the Sun Imps their freedom once more as they entered the sunlight. Once freed, they begin inflicting curses and hexes on the assembled knights before they escaped to cause even more havoc in the world.
Sun Imps vary in appearance and their only goal is to cause mischief. Each possess a different power from hypnotising to turn the ground to mud. This is accomplished through uttering rhyming phrases which cause the effect on a person or location.
