Turles

Turles was a pure-blooded Saiyan, a survivor of the destruction of Planet Vegeta. He looked very similar to Goku, and it is possible they are twin brothers or otherwise related somehow. With a small group of followers (Amon, Daizu, Kakao, and Rezun and Rakasae), he came to Earth to plant the Tree of Might. In a matter of hours the tree grew at a rapid pace, until it reached hundreds of miles across the Earth, destroying all cities and signs of life in its path. Goku and the Z Warriors flew to the scene and battled Turles' followers, but all of them were overpowered except for Goku.

Turles did not initially participate in battle. He only appeared after Gohan had singlehandedly defeated Rezun. Impressed by the boy's strength, Turles realized that Gohan was a Saiyan. He promptly kidnapped Gohan and, noting his tail, created a ball of artificial moonlight (similar to Vegeta). He gleefully turned the boy's eyes to look at the moonlight, while taking care to look away himself, at which Gohan transformed into an Oozaru and began wreaking havoc. Piccolo challenged Turles, but the far stronger Saiyan simply knocked him aside. Although he had to expend a little bit more effort, Turles also managed to defeat Goku by himself as well.

One the Tree of Might grew to its fullest, Turles consumed not one but several pieces of the tree's super-charged fruit, boosting his strength, speed and stamina tremendously. Intending to finish off Goku, Turles met him for a final showdown within the hollow of the colossal tree. Acting quickly, Goku launched a Spirit Bomb (Genki-Dama) at Turles, which had been created from all the energy stored in the fruit. Both Turles and the tree were destroyed by the enormous ball of the Earth's energy.

A fake Turles was created by Dr. Raichi to battle Goku and company during his attempt to wipe out all life on Earth with Destron Gas; he was quickly destroyed.
