Xanatos Enterprises

Xanatos Enterprises was a powerful multinational corporation owned by David Xanatos. It holds interests in many business and scientific areas, including television, electronics and robotics (through the subsidiary Scarab Corporation), cybernetics, and cloning and genetic engineering (though subsidiary Gen-U-Tech). Its corporate headquarters is in the Eyrie Building in Manhattan.

The company was originally intended to be called "Xanacorp," but the name had already been taken. There is also a real company calling itself Xanatos Enterprises, but there is some dispute as to whether it existed under that name before or after the show.
